Contact Commissioners

Commercial Low Office is a transitional designation to COMMERCIAL.  The developer paid RESIDENTIAL prices for the 2.09 acres in hopes he could slide his plan through without opposition.  Without our opposition the developer’s investment will quadruple in value adding another empty lot for sale in an already overstocked market.

If this designation is allowed to change, the Palm Beach County Commissioners will be setting a disastrous precedence for the county and all residential communities in it.  They will be sending a message that our neighborhoods are for sale and you can build whatever you want.

To enhance this insanity, the Coalition of West Boynton Residential Associations (COWBRA) has reared its ugly head to support this project against the will of the residents who are not members of COWBRA.  COWBRA claims to support residential communities while they climb into bed with developers and LOBBY policies in direct conflict to their charter.

What can you do?

Contact the county commissioners listed below  and tell them COMMERCIAL LOW OFFICE does not fit the surrounding communities.  This is all Agricultural / Residential, Planned Unit Developments. All commercial is located in the appropriate places on Lyon’s and Lantana and Jog and Lantana.

The Palm Beach Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will make their final decision on January 5, 2012.  We need every one to send an email to the Commissioners!  In the subject line put: I OPPOSE Stunkel Medical Office on Lantana & Hagan Ranch!   In the body put your name, address and any other comments.

The Commissioners emails are:
