The last meeting ended in a 4-3 vote in favor of zoning changes to allow this to be built. The next meeting is February 26th with the BCC (county commissioners) to determine the the final outcome. The land use commission voted 11-1 against the change, we've met with the zoning people twice and they flip flopped on their votes. We need your help, please email the commissioners and tell them no. If you can attend on the 26th, we need you to be there.

this proposed development is a threat to the safety of my children that take that specific route to and from school everyday. I'm very concerned of this potential danger to our children! Our local community will stand and object every step of the way of any progress made in this commercial development!

Messerâ's, I am requesting that you vote to decline the zoning request for the proposed Stunkel Medical Office Building project. I have been a resident of Serene Estates for the last 18 years. My home here is my primary residence and I have a substantial investment in the value of the areaâs real estate. Starting at the intersection of Lantana Road and Hagan Ranch Road going Westward there is nothing but residential (and AG) property until after you are all most to Lyons Road. Hundreds of Homes in this prime residential area are conveniently located close to commercial business centers on Jog Road and State Road 7. On Pine Needle Lane alone there are substantial properties. These homes are located on multi acre sites and are surrounded by mature pine trees providing privacy and traffic sound protection. Additionally, there is a new Elementary School just South of the intersection on Hagan Ranch Road which has enhanced our property values. Any Commercial activities on Lantana Road between Hagan Ranch Road and Lyons Road would destroy the value of hundreds of properties. The Medical Office Building project is being proposed without regard for the wants or needs of the surrounding area. Mr. Stunkelâs only motive is profit. He wants to cut down all the trees and put up a parking lot furthering the risks to traffic and school children already dealing with a dangerous intersection. The bottom line is that development and Urban sprawl have to end somewhere! Please vote NO on Mr. Stunkelâs request. Thank you for your time and attention. Respectfully yours, Colin C. This will be too dangerous for my kids and other kids who have to walk to school. Support the cause to get this stopped - contact the county commissioners and tell them no commercial here!

Parents and local residents contact the county commissioners and tell them, â??Stop the madness! No to Stunkel commercial building that will add an additional 996 cars to the corner of Lantana & Hagen Ranch and ruin our rural lifestyle!â?
